A variety of outreach activities have been conducted since the project kick-off in 2018. Prior meeting materials, a 2019 online survey report, and a 2022 online survey report are available for reference. The City of San Diego is currently asking for feedback on the draft University Community Plan and supporting technical information. Community members can review this latest draft and send new comments via e-mail to planuniversity@sandiego.gov by April 29, 2024.
A Draft Programmatic Environmental Impact Report (Draft EIR) has also been prepared. Comments on this Draft EIR will be accepted for a 45-day comment period ending on April 29, 2024. Please submit comments on the Draft EIR via e-mail to planningceqa@sandiego.gov.
The University Community Plan Update Subcommittee also typically meets the third Tuesday of the month to discuss key issues related to the plan update. Meetings are open to the public. More information and registration details are available at PlanUniversity.org/meetings.
